All of the artwork on this site was created by me, Bethy Williams (unless otherwise noted and credited).
I hold all the rights.

I am very pleased when people enjoy my art, and 99.9% of the people who visit my site and check out my work have nothing but good intentions. However, there are some people who don't, and there are people who don't quite seem to understand that when art is on the Internet, it is STILL the property of the artist, not clip art, not there for them to use and abuse however they please. I've had some bad experiences with these people, and so have many of my fellow self-representing artists. So, although I wish these things went without saying, I'm afraid they must be said.

1. My art may not be sold or reproduced in any way whatsoever unless I have given my express written permission. What I mean is, don't put it on crap and sell it as your own, and don't copy my art and pretend you did it. It seems absurd that this kind of thing happens, but it really does!

2. If you want to use my art for something, contact me.

3. If you want to post my art on your site or blog, contact me. If it's not for profit and you give credit where credit is due, I will usually be okay with this.

4. Fan art is okay as long as, again, you give credit where credit is due. I like fan art! I like my fans, too. The only problem comes when some people rip off other artists and pass off the images and concepts as their own but, when cornered, try to defend themselves by calling it "fan art". These people are fools. As long as you don't do THAT sort of thing, fan art is okay. In fact, if you send fan art to me I might post it on my site.

5. If you use my art as your own personal wallpaper on your own personal computer, I have no problem with that.

6. If you see my art being used in a way that seems fishy or improper somehow, please, please, please contact me.
